Invoice Maria $400. Just say it.

This is a canned walk-through of CashText, The Mayor's invoicing module. Maria and her $400 are made up — the words, the cards, and the rules are the real module's: you approve every send, invoices go out through your own Stripe, and nothing here touches a real account. No data you type is collected — there is nothing to type.

Invoice Maria $400 for the bathroom work, due Friday.

Here's the draft. Nothing sends until you approve it.

The invoice carries a pay link from your own Stripe, set when the invoice is created — a sent invoice's words never change afterwards.

Three days after the due date, if it's still open, I'll offer a chase — always as a fresh draft for your approval, never on my own.

Chase draft · step 1

A chase re-sends the same invoice — Stripe can't add new words to a sent invoice, so the fresh wording is a copy-paste draft for your own message, labelled as exactly that:

Hi Maria — a friendly nudge on the $400 invoice for the bathroom work, due last Friday. The pay link is on the invoice I just re-sent. Anything you need from me to get it paid?

Done — the re-send is on its way with your approval. And every Friday I'll lay out the week's cash on your Desk: what came in, what's still out, and what's waiting on you.

CashText arrives with the module launch — pricing is announced at launch, and checkout opens then.
